My name is Jessica.  I am a Soldier, a single mom, and once upon a time I was an aspiring writer.  All my friends started a blog here, and I want to do the same.  I’ve been meaning to for a while anyhow, after being inspired by No Impact Man.

Anyway, I love reading and the outdoors and am majoring in Botany.  I will probably be graduating sometime around 2037.  Ha ha.

Because I am a single mom, I can’t blog every day.  But I’ll try to blog often while I’m at work.  The theme of this blog, should there be one, I suppose will develop over time.
